In this October 2022 Kia cars sales analysis, we’ll look at the car sales of Kia for the previous month. We’ll also compare the YoY and MoM change to find out which Kia model’s sales improved and which ones declined. Lastly, the table with monthly sales for the last 6 months will give you an idea about the 6-month sales trend of all Kia cars.

October 2022 - Kia Car Sales Figures - YoY Change

Sonet sales witnessed a 40% YoY growth and was the top gainer for Kia in October 2022
The Carnival was Kia’s top loser last month, with a 24.75% YoY loss
The Carens and EV6 were not on sale in October 2021. Hence, we cannot do a YoY comparison

October 2022 - Kia Car Sales Figures - MoM Change

Most of the cars from Kia saw a decline in sales numbers.
The Kia Sonet saw the biggest dip in numbers, a decline of 18% in MoM comparison for October.
The Seltos was the second biggest loser in MoM comparison, witnessing a decline of 11% MoM in October.
The Seltos was the only car from Kia that reached 5-figure sales numbers in September 2022, but dropped to under 10,000 units in October.
In MoM comparison, Carens was the only Kia car that saw any growth (of about 5%).
Kia’s EV, the EV6, sold 152 units in October of 2022. EV6 had no takers in the month of September.
