In this November 2022 car sales analysis article, we’ll look at the YoY and MoM change in sales figures of all sedans in India. Where applicable, we’ll also include our observations based on the sales data and possible reasons behind a massive increase or drop in sales. Lastly, the table with monthly sales of all sedans for the last 6 months will give you an idea about their 6-month sales trend.

Sedans November 2022 Car Sales - YoY Change

The Dzire maintained its top spot among sedan sales in November 2022.
It looks like even in the foreseeable future, the Dzire will remain the only sedan to achieve a 5-figure monthly sales figure.
Among the smaller sedans, the Tigor witnessed a 141% YoY gain, making it the top gainer.
The Dzire and Amaze were the second and third best gainers with 76.4% and 66% YoY gains in November, respectively.
All mass-market cars saw an increase in dispatch numbers in YoY comparison in November.
The Skoda Octavia saw an YoY drop of 46.4% in November, whereas Camry reported a 131% increase in YoY comparison in November.
Volkswagen Vento and Skoda Rapid were discontinued over the past year by their respective manufacturers.

Sedan November 2022 Car Sales - MoM Change

The Skoda Slavia was the overall top gainer in November MoM comparison, with a growth of 47%. In second spot, the Virtus reported a MoM growth of 41.32%, followed by the Dzire with 17.3% growth.
Talking about the MoM losers in November, Honda Amaze topped the chart with 28.5% decline, Ciaz with 17.52% decline was in second spot, City and Octavia in the third spot with 16% decline.
