New Honda Amaze Design Sketches Released – Previews Exterior And Interior Of Dzire 2024 Rival | V3Cars

Honda Cars India have unveiled the exterior and interior sketches of the upcoming Amaze 2024 on the same day as the launch of its primary rival, the Maruti Dzire 2024. The latest sketches offer a preview of the new Amaze’s all-new design, which is inspired by Honda’s current models such as the Civic and the City sedans.

New Honda Amaze Exterior Interior Design Sketches Released

Honda Amaze 2024 Exterior Design

Like the outgoing model, the new Amaze’s exterior sketches suggest a true sedan like silhouette for the new B2-sedan. If Honda manage to retain the design seen in these sketches, we can expect the new Amaze 2024 to offer a bold and wide stance with sleek lines running along the sides.  The front end of the 2025 Amaze draws inspiration from the recently unveiled City facelift for the Brazilian market and the new-gen Civic.

The sharp LED headlights with integrated DRLs, a large hexagonal grille with a mesh pattern, and a chrome bar extending across the bonnet give the sedan a bold and dynamic appearance. The front bumper of the production-spec Amaze could feature sharper creases and a larger air dam, further enhancing the car's sporty character. At the rear, the Amaze 2024 could offer a similar taillamp design as the current City sold in India.

The 2024 Amaze is likely to be based on the same Global Small Car platform that underpins the City and Elevate. While the overall length is expected to remain similar to the current model (around 3995mm), the wheelbase could be extended to 2500mm or more, offering improved rear legroom. This would bring the Amaze closer to the City’s 2600mm wheelbase and the Elevate’s 2650mm wheelbase.

2024 Honda Amaze – Interior And Features

The interior design sketch of the new Amaze 2024 suggest it could get an interior similar to the current-gen Civic sold overseas. The new Amaze is likely to offer features such as a multi-function steering wheel, a digital driver’s display and a 9-inch touchscreen in the higher variants. The sketches also reveal a brushed aluminium surround with a textured panel surrounding the rectangular AC vents. The automatic climate control could get 2 toggle switches to set the temperature and blower speed, if required. Prospective customers can also expect a host of connectivity and charging options, including a 12V socket, USB-A and USB-C charging sockets, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and Honda’s connected car features.

2024 Honda Amaze – Expected Powertrain Specs

Honda are likely to offer the upcoming Amaze with the same powertrain options as the current model. So expect the 2024 Amaze to come with a 1.2L normal petrol engine with the choice of a 5-speed manual and a CVT automatic transmission. The 1.2L normal petrol engine produces 90PS of power and 110Nm of torque and in the current model, it offers a mileage of 18.60kmpl with the manual transmission and 18.30kmpl with the automatic.

2024 Honda Amaze Expected Price

While the current version of the Amaze is priced between Rs. 7.20 lakh to Rs. 9.96 lakh, we expect the new-gen model to get a starting price of Rs. 7.50 lakh. The top Amaze automatic variant, however, could breach the Rs. 10 lakh mark with the new model. When launched, the new Amaze will rival the all-new Dzire as well as the Hyundai Aura and Tata Tigor.
