MG Windsor EV New Teaser Reveals Reclining Rear Seats | V3Cars

MG India have released a new teaser for the upcoming Windsor EV, revealing some of its unique features. In this article, we take a look at the interior and features of the 2024 Windsor EV.

2024 MG Windsor EV To Offer Reclining Rear Seats

The latest teaser image for the MG Windsor EV reveals its rear seats with a reclining function. MG say the rear seats can recline to up to 135 degrees, which should enhance comfort for rear passengers on long journeys. Other features spotted in the new teaser image include rear AC vents mounted aft of the centre floor console, faux leather seat upholstery with honeycomb pattern stitching, a rear seat armrest, and 3-point seatbelts for all passengers.

Since the upcoming MG EV is already on offer as the Wuling Cloud EV in other Asian markets, we can expect the Windsor to offer the following features as well:

ADAS suite
2-poke steering wheel
8.8-inch digital driver’s display
15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system
360-degree surround view monitor
6 speakers
Wireless charger

2024 MG Windsor EV Expected Powertrain Specs And Range

MG India are yet to reveal the electric motor and battery specifications of the upcoming Windsor EV. However, the Wuling Cloud EV sold in other markets gets 2 battery pack options – a 37.9kWh option that offers a range of 360km and a 50.6kWh battery pack that offers 460km range. Based on the Wuling Cloud EV, we expect the Windsor EV to put out around 134PS of power, which would make it more powerful than the Nexon medium range variants but less powerful than the XUV400 and Nexon’s long range variants.

2024 MG Windsor EV Expected Price And Rivals

With a length of 4295mm, MG’s version of the Cloud EV will compete with other C-segment electric crossover SUVs such as the upcoming Tata Curvv EV. The upcoming MG EV will slot in between the Comet EV and ZS EV in JSW MG India’s lineup. We expect MG to price it in the Rs. 13.0 lakh - Rs. 17.0 lakh price range.
