MG Motor India have announced the prices of Hector Shine variants. The prices of the MG Hector Shine variants start from Rs. 16.34 lakh and go up to Rs. 18.59 lakh ex-showroom. Read on to know more details about the MG Hector Shine.

The Shine variant sits above the base Style variant and comes with all 3 powertrain options. The Shine petrol manual variant of the Hector costs Rs. 1.34 lakh more than the base Syle petrol manual variant. For the extra money, the Shine variant offers a couple of added features over the base variant.

MG Hector Powertrain Details

The new Hector comes with 2 engine options – a 1.5L turbo petrol and a 2.0L turbo diesel. The 1.5L turbo petrol engine produces 143PS of power at 5000rpm and 250Nm of torque between 1600rpm and 3600rpm. This engine comes with a choice of 6-speed manual or a CVT. The 2.0L turbo diesel engine produces 170PS of power at 3750rpm and 350Nm of torque between 1750rpm and 2500rpm. The diesel engine is only available with a 6-speed manual transmission.
