2025 MG Comet EV Gets New Features – Prices Increased | V3Cars

JSW MG Motor India have launched the MG Comet EV 2025 with a feature update across its mid and top variants. Prices for the 2025 Comet EV start at Rs. 4.99 lakh (ex-showroom) with Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) program. Bookings for the updated Comet EV are now open for an amount of Rs. 11,000.

MG offer the 2025 Comet EV in 6 variants – Executive, Excite, Excite Fast Charge, Exclusive, Exclusive Fast Charge and Blackstorm.

While the base Executive variant remains unchanged, the Excite and Exclusive variants now get additional features.

The Excite and Excite Fast Charge variants now get a rear parking camera and power-folding ORVMS which were earlier limited to the Exclusive, Exclusive Fast Charge and Blackstorm variants.

The Exclusive and Exclusive Fast Charge variants now get leatherette upholstery and 4 speakers which were earlier only available in the Blackstorm variant.

The 2025 MG Comet EV is priced from Rs. 7 lakh to Rs. 9.81 lakh (ex-showroom) without the BaaS program. The mid Excite variant of the Comet EV is now costlier by Rs. 5,000, while the top Exclusive variant gets a price hike of Rs. 10,000. The price of the Blackstorm special edition variant, which was launched in February 2025, remains unchanged.

Powered by a 17.3kWh battery pack, the Comet EV puts out 42PS of power and 110Nm of peak torque. MG claim the Comet EV offers a range of 230km on a single charge. The Fast Charge and Blackstorm variants come with a faster 7.4kW AC home charger while the standard variants come with a 3.3kW AC home charger.
