Mercedes-Benz Set To Hike Car Prices On 1 January, 2025 (Press Release) | V3Cars

Mercedes-Benz India have announced a price increase of up to 3% across its entire model range, effective January 1, 2025. The revision is attributed to rising input costs, inflation, and higher operational expenses, which have been affecting the company's business sustainability. While Mercedes-Benz has absorbed these costs for the past three quarters, it will now pass on a nominal portion to customers, continuing to shoulder the majority of the burden.

Mercedes-Benz India Announce Price Hike Effective 1 January, 2025

Santosh Iyer, Managing Director & CEO, Mercedes-Benz India said:

Over the past three quarters, we have been facing increased pressure on our cost structure primarily driven by escalating material cost, fluctuating commodity pricing, increased logistics expenses and inflationary cost. While we have been absorbing these cost pressures by optimizing our operational costs and driving higher efficiencies, the overall bottom line is getting impacted, considering the current challenges. To ensure the sustainability of our business we have decided for a nominal price correction. This price correction will apply to those vehicles currently not in stock, offering price protection for all existing and future bookings until December 31st. Flexible financing options from Mercedes-Benz Financial Services will ensure optimal total cost of ownership for our customers.
