Kia Seltos X Line Facelift Spotted On Test | V3Cars
The X Line variant of the upcoming Kia Seltos facelift was recently spotted on test, revealing a few more details about the upcoming C-segment SUV. Read on to know more about the 2023 Seltos facelift.
2023 Kia Seltos X Line Facelift — Exterior Changes
The Seltos X Line facelift is likely to carry the same set of exterior changes as the regular Seltos. However, since it will wear the X Line badge, we expect it to feature a few additions to set it apart from the standard variants of the Seltos. To start with, the Seltos X Line facelift will get a new set of LED headlights that are likely to look slimmer than before. The front grille will also grow in size and the bumper is also likely to get an overhaul.

Around the side, the spy shots reveal the same 5-spoke design for the 18-inch machined alloy wheels. Hence, the side profile of the Seltos X Line facelift is likely to remain unchanged and it’s also likely to carry the same matte grey colour scheme as the current Seltos X Line. At the rear, the Seltos X Line offers a new set of LED tail lights with a connecting light bar in the middle.
2023 Kia Seltos X Line Facelift — Interior And Features
On the inside, the Setlos X Line is likely to offer the same dashboard layout as the standard variants of the Seltos facelift, albeit in a different colour. The upcoming India-bound Seltos facelift could feature a connected, twin-screen setup. Each screen could measure up to 10.25-inches in size, similar to the ones in the all-electric Kia EV6. Furthermore, the dashboard could also get a few revisions along with a generous use of soft-touch materials. In terms of features, the Seltos is already a fairly-loaded SUV and we could expect Kia to offer the updated SUV with advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) features and a panoramic sunroof.

2023 Kia Seltos X Line Facelift — Powertrain Details
The 2023 Kia Seltos X Line is likely to offer the turbo diesel engine option as the current model. Furthermore, Kia could also offer the new 1.5L turbo petrol engine in the Seltos as a replacement for the now discontinued 1.35L (1.4L in Kia’s speak) turbo petrol engine. The new 1.5L turbo petrol engine already powers other Kia and Hyundai offerings like the Kia Carens, Hyundai Alcazar and new Verna sedan. It remains to be seen whether the Seltos will offer a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed auto-clutch manual transmission (ACMT) with the 1.5L turbo petrol engine.
2023 Kia Seltos X Line Facelift — India Launch Timeline
Kia are likely to launch the Seltos facelift around July 2023. However, it remains to be seen whether Kia will launch the Seltos X Line along with the Seltos facelift or save it for a later date. We can expect Kia dealerships to start unofficial bookings for the upcoming SUV in June 2023. The Seltos facelift will continue to go up against the likes of the Hyundai Creta, MG Astor, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder.
