Kia Seltos HTK+ New Automatic Transmission Options

As part of the March 2024 update, the Kia Seltos’ HTK Plus variant now gets 2 new automatic transmission options. The Seltos HTK+ powered by the 1.5L normal petrol engine is now available with a CVT automatic transmission while the diesel powertrain gains a 6-speed torque converter (TC) automatic option. According to an internal document, Kia have introduced the new Seltos HTK+ automatic variants to counter the mid variants of the Honda Elevate CVT and Hyundai Creta CVT.  

The Seltos HTK+ variant is also available with the 1.5L normal petrol mated to a 6-speed manual transmission, 1.5L turbo petrol engine with the 6-speed auto clutch-manual transmission (ACMT). The 1.5L turbo diesel is available with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed ACMT or a 6-speed TC automatic transmission. The previous most affordable automatic variant of the Seltos normal petrol and diesel was the Seltos HTX. The 1.5L normal petrol engine in the Kia Seltos puts out 115PS of power and 144Nm of torque, while the 1.5L turbo petrol engine produces 160PS of power and 253Nm of torque. The 1.5L diesel engine offers an output of 116PS and 250Nm of torque.

 Kia Seltos HTK And HTK Plus Get New Features

The new automatic transmission options for the Seltos HTK Plus variant gets a couple of new features as well. The Seltos HTK+ petrol and diesel automatic variants get the following features:

• Panoramic sunroof
• LED connected tail lamps
• Leather-wrapped flat-bottom steering wheel
• LED map and reading lamps

Additionally, the new Selos HTK+ petrol and diesel automatic variants also get a new paint option – Aurora Black Pearl

Kia have also updated the feature list of the Seltos HTK variants by giving them LED DRLs, smart key with push button start/stop, remote key start, and LED connected tail lamps.

Prices of all existing variants of the Kia Seltos remain unchanged for the moment. However, Kia have announced a 3% hike across the board, which will take effect on April 1, 2024. Know more by tapping the link below.
