Kia EV6 Expected Prices — Launch On June 2 | V3Cars

Kia are all set to launch the EV6 on June 2. Bookings for the Kia EV6 are currently open for a token amount of Rs. 3 Lakh. Only 15 dealerships in 12 cities are allotted to showcase and sell the EV6. Thanks to the tax impositions on CBU cars, the EV6 will be priced at a premium. We try to estimate the prices of the Kia EV6 by taking into account it’s UK prices and our import duties.

Kia India have revealed the specifications and features of the India-spec EV6. However, Kia also mentioned that the specs could vary as the homologation process is still underway. Kia will offer the EV6 in the top-spec GT Line with both rear-wheel-drive and 4-wheel-drive drivetrains. Both drivetrain options will come with a 77.4kWh battery pack with a WLTP-certified range of up to 528km.

In the UK, the Kia EV6 costs the equivalent of Rs. 36.55 lakh for the GT Line RWD and Rs. 39.45 Lakh for the GT Line AWD. If we take import duties and other charges into account, we can expect the EV6 GT Line RWD to be priced between Rs. 50 lakh to Rs. 55 lakh and the EV6 GT Line 4WD to be priced between Rs. 55 lakh and Rs.60 lakh. These prices should enable the EV6 to undercut all premium electric SUVs in the market, including the upcoming Volvo XC40 Recharge.
