In this June 2022 cars sales analysis article, we’ll look at the YoY and MoM change in sales figures of all sedans in India. We’ll also include our observations based on the sales data and possible reasons behind a massive increase or drop in sales, where applicable. Lastly, the table with monthly sales of all sedans for the last 6 months will give you an idea about their 6-month sales trend.

Sedans Segment June 2022 Car Sales - YoY Change

The Dzire maintains its top spot among sedans in June 2022
It looks like even in the foreseeable future, the Dzire will remain the only sedan to achieve a 5-figure monthly dispatches
The Slavia sits in second place in June in C-segment sales after the City regained its top spot among C-segment sedans
Among the smaller sedans, the Tigor delivered 358% YoY gains, Amaze delivered 125% YoY gains
The biggest loser was Vento reporting a 70% decline in dispatches which is on its way out

Sedan Segment June 2022 Car Sales - MoM Change

Ciaz was the top gainer amongst the cars still on sale with 157% increment in the numbers this month
Among the few MoM losers, the Octavia is still at the top with a 23% decline
