In this January 2023 Hyundai car sales analysis article, we’ll look at the car sales of Hyundai for the previous month. We’ll also compare the YoY and MoM change to find out which Hyundai cars’ sales improved and which ones declined. Lastly, the table with monthly sales for the last 6 months will give you an idea about the 6-month sales trend of all Hyundai cars.

January 2023 - Hyundai Car Sales Figures - YoY Change

The Creta is a consistent top performer for Hyundai, with over 15,000 units sold in January 2023
The Creta and Venue are the only cars from Hyundai with 5-digit production numbers in January
Disregarding the Tucson and Kona’s numbers for the purpose of this analysis, the Creta was the top gainer in YoY comparison in the month of January with around 52% increase in YoY comparison
Among the losers, on the other hand, Alcazar saw a 51% decline in January YoY comparison

Most Hyundai cars saw a growth in dispatches in January over December
Tucson was the top gainer with 1400% growth in January YoY comparison analysis
Tucson was followed by i20 with 74% increase in dispatches compared to December
Creta saw a 47% MoM growth in January
Hyundai Verna and Kona Electric were the only cars that saw a decline in dispatches, 35% and 67%, respectively.
