Hyundai Venue Now Gets ADAS Features, Turbo Manual Option | V3Cars
In a bid to counter the stir created by the new 2023 Tata Nexon, Hyundai have updated the Venue with segment-first advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) features. As part of the update, the Hyundai Venue 1.0L turbo petrol variants now get the option of a 6-speed manual transmission (MT) in place of the 6-speed auto-clutch manual transmission (ACMT). Meanwhile, the Venue N Line’s starting price is now lower than ever before thanks to the addition of the 6-speed manual transmission. Read on to know more about the latest Hyundai Venue updates.
Hyundai Venue, Venue N Line Now With ADAS Features
The updated Hyundai Venue and Venue N Line are the first B2-segment SUVs to offer advanced driving assistance systems (ADAS). Take a look at the list of ADAS features that are on offer in the updated Venue:
- Forward collision warning and avoidance assist
- Lane keeping assist
- Lane departure warning
- Driver attention warning
- High beam assist
- Leading vehicle departure alert

To keep costs in check, Hyundai are not offering the Venue and Venue N Line with ADAS features like adaptive cruise control and rear cross traffic alert and avoidance, which cars like the Verna and Tucson offer. Hence, the ADAS features of the Venue are more suited to city driving than highway journeys. The ADAS features are offered with the petrol manual, petrol DCT and diesel manual powertrains of the Venue SX(O) variant.
Hyundai Venue, Venue N Line Now Get Manual Transmission Option
Hyundai have updated the Venue and Venue N Line with a new turbo petrol-manual powertrain. The new transmission option replaces the older auto-clutch manual transmission option across all turbo petrol variants. While the engine remains the same 1.0L turbo petrol unit as before, Hyundai now offer a conventional 6-speed manual transmission in place of the 6-speed ACMT. Thanks to this update, the 1.0L S(O) MT variant is now Rs. 10,900 cheaper than the previous S(O) ACMT variant.

Although the SX(O) manual variants now come with ADAS, the price difference between the old SX(O) ACMT variants and the new MT variants is only Rs. 9,000. The turbo DCT and diesel manual variants, on the other hand, command a premium of Rs. 19,900 over the outgoing variants for the new ADAS features.

In the case of the Venue N Line, the sporty SUV was earlier only available with the turbo DCT option. Hyundai have now introduced a manual transmission option for the Venue N Line, which has brought its starting price lower than ever before. This should help its popularity and result in increased sales among enthusiasts.

Thanks to the addition of the manual transmission, the prices for the Hyundai Venue N Line now starts at Rs. 12.0 lakh compared to the earlier starting price of Rs. 12.67 lakh (ex-showroom) for the N6 DCT variant. The prices for the Venue N Line manual variants range from Rs. 12.0 lakh to Rs. 13.11 lakh. However, the prices of the Venue N Line with the DCT option has gone up by Rs. 8,701 to Rs. 12,200. But it is worth noting that only the N8 manual and DCT variants of the Venue N Line feature ADAS. With the inclusion of said ADAS features, the N8 DCT variant of the Venue N Line now costs Rs. 8,700 more than before.
The Venue N Line N6 DCT variants have received a comparatively larger price hike of Rs. 12,200 thanks to the addition of a dash camera. It is interesting to note that Hyundai have removed the dash camera from the N8 variant of the Venue N Line. Hence, the price jump between the old and new variants of the Venue N Line is smaller when compared to the equivalent variants of the regular Venue.
