According to a source with knowledge of the matter, the Hyundai Alcazar facelift is coming in September 2024. This seems like a suitable timing for the Alcazar 2024 and aligns with the festivities. So, it’s highly likely that the source is offering us credible information in this regard.

2024 Hyundai Alcazar Facelift Launch Timeline

This year, the Shradh or Pitrupaksha period starts from September 17 and stretches up to October 2, 2024. This is considered an inauspicious period or buying new vehicles. Then, immediately after this, we have the Navratri, which is considered extremely auspicious. The Navratri in 2024 falls in the October 3 - October 11, 2024 period. Soon after this, we enter the peak festive season with Dussehra on October 12 followed by Diwali 20 days later.

Thus, we expect Hyundai to either reveal or commence bookings of the 2024 Alcazar facelift in the first half of September 2024. Then, the bookings may continue throughout the month of September with deliveries starting in the auspicious period of Navratri.

Hyundai may even disclose the prices in September itself or withhold the information until after the Shradh/Pitrupaksha period is over and Navratris begin.

Moreover, the Alcazar is ready for an update. After all, it’s the 3-row version of the Creta and the Creta itself received a facelift early in 2024. The Alcazar first went on sale in mid of 2021 and it’s been 3 years since. Assuming a 6-year lifecycle, it’s up for a refresh.

All things considered, it seems extremely likely that the car may get mid-life update sometime in September 2024.

2024 Hyundai Alcazar Facelift Expected Features

The upcoming Hyundai Alcazar facelift is most likely to borrow the same new features as the Creta facelift. So, besides a design update, we expect the Alcazar 2024 to get ADAS features like:

  • Forward collision warning and avoidance assistance
  • Lane keep assist and lane departure warning
  • Lane follow assist
  • Adaptive cruise control
  • Blind spot alert/monitoring

This time around, the Alcazar is likely to get a significantly distinct design over the Creta, which should help it establish its own unique identity in the 3-row SUV space.
