At the launch of the Honda Elevate, Honda Cars India revealed the waiting period of the C-segment SUV. Read on to know more about the Elevate waiting period and booking ratio between variants and powertrain choices.

Honda Elevate Waiting Period, Booking Break-Up Revealed

Honda Cars India began bookings for the Elevate on July 3, 2023 and launched the SUV on September 4, 2023. While Honda haven’t revealed the booking tally for the Elevate yet, the carmaker claimed that bookings increased ever since they announced the Elevate’s prices.

Honda have revealed that the higher variants of the Elevate – the VX and ZX – are more in demand and they currently command a waiting period of 5 - 6 months. The waiting period for the lower variants – the SV and V – currently hover between 2 - 3 months.

Speaking of the booking ratio between the variants and powertrains, Honda Cars India revealed a few interesting details. The automatic variants of the Elevate account for 65% of the total bookings while the top variants – the VX and ZX – account for 60% of the total bookings.

The Honda Elevate offers the same 1.5L normal petrol engine as the City sedan. It produces 121PS of power at 6600rpm and 145Nm of torque at 4300rpm. The normal petrol engine can be had with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-step continuously variable transmission (CVT). The Honda Elevate rivals other C-segment SUVs like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, MG Astor, Volkswagen Taigun, and Skoda Kushaq.
