Citroen e-C3 Hatchback Details

Various spy shots of the Citroen e-C3 electric crossover have emerged online over the past few months. The eC3 will launch in the first quarter of 2023. The e-C3 test car revealed little to no changes over the regular C3 in terms of design. It continues to come with a split headlight design and twin peaks Citroen logo. It offers a charging port on the driver-side front fender and the eC3 will support both fast charging and home charging.

The interior also looks identical to the ICE-powered C3 as it continues with a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, manual climate control and manually-adjustable ORVMs. Furthermore, the eC3 also gets the same 3-spoke steering wheel as the regular C3. The eC3 also retains the C3’s ignition lock cylinder with no push button start/stop system. The only perceptible change in the eC3’s interior is the inclusion of a toggle switch that lets the driver select drive modes.

While it’s pretty early to judge, we expect the eC3 to undercut the Tata Nexon EV Prime and lead the segment until Tata come up with the Punch EV. Hence, the eC3 will rival the Tata Tigor EV and the upcoming Tata Tiago EV for now. The Citroen eC3 is likely to offer a range of 300km to 350km on a single charge and could pack a 40kWh battery pack.
