The spied images of the eC3 reveal no design changes over the ICE-powered C3. It continues to come with a chrome grille that extends into the LED DRLs and halogen headlights. Surprisingly, the eC3 in the images lack fog lamps and alloy wheels. It is worth noting that the eC3 gets a charging port on the front right fender.

While it’s pretty early to judge, we expect the eC3 to undercut the Tata Nexon EV Prime and lead the segment until Tata come up with the Punch EV. Hence, the eC3 will rival the Tata Tigor EV and the upcoming Tata Tiago EV for now. The Citroen eC3 is likely to offer a range of 300-350km on a single charge. It is likely pack a 40kWh battery pack and a front-mounted electric motor.

Citroen could price the eC3 below Rs. 10 lakh to undercut the Tata Nexon EV and Tigor EV. The Tata Tigor EV’s prices range from Rs. 12.50 lakh to Rs. 13.75 lakh ex-showroom. Apart from the eC3, Citroen are also working on the C3 Aircross that could incorporate 3-row seating.
