Citroen C3 Mileage Revealed Ahead Of Launch | V3Cars

Citroen India will launch the made-in-India C3 on July 20. The bookings for the hatchback will open on July 1. Ahead of its launch, we found out the mileage details of the C3 normal petrol and turbo petrol engines.

Citroen will offer the C3 hatchback with two engine options — 1.2L 3-cylinder normal petrol and a 1.2L 3-cylinder turbo petrol. The 1.2L normal petrol engine will produce 82PS of power at 5750rpm and 115Nm of torque at 3750rpm. The 1.2L turbo petrol engine will produce 110PS of power at 5500rpm and 190Nm of torque at 1750rpm. The 1.2L normal petrol will get a 5-speed manual transmission while the  and 1.2L turbo petrol will come with a 6-speed manual. We expect Citroen to add an automatic transmission at a later date.

Citroen will offer the C3 hatchback in two variants — Live and Feel. In addition to that, Citroen India will also offer a lot of optional features, accessories and colour options. The India-spec C3 is quite similar to the global C3, revealed back in September 2021. The notable exterior features of the India-spec C3 include LED DRLs, halogen reflector headlights, halogen fog lamps and split tail lights.

The upcoming Citroen C3 hatchback will go up against the Tata Punch, Maruti Suzuki Ignis and Tata Tiago NRG. The C3 is likely to offer class-leading space along with a comfortable ride, which Citroen are famous for. We expect Citroen to price the C3 hatchback competitively thanks to heavy localisation.
