BMW X4 Silver Shadow Edition Launched In India | V3Cars

BMW India have launched the 2022 X4 Silver Shadow Edition, priced at Rs. 71.90 lakh ex-showroom. The X4 Silver Shadow edition gets some tweaks inside out and replaces the Dark Shadow edition which went on sale at launch in limited numbers.

The BMW X4 Silver Shadow edition gets chrome elements, replacing the gloss black elements seen on the Dark Shadow edition. It gets chrome elements on the front grille, bumpers and exhaust pipes. The 20-inch alloy wheels are the same, albeit finished in chrome. On the inside, the X4 Silver Shadow gets black interiors with leather upholstery.

On the features front, the X4 Silver Shadow continues to offer the following features:

  • Three-zone climate control
  • Electric tailgate

The X4 Silver Shadow gets a 2.0L turbo petrol and 3.0L turbo diesel engine. The petrol motor produces 252PS of power at 5200rpm and 350Nm of torque between 1450rpm to 4800rpm. The 3.0L diesel of the X4 produces 265PS of power at 4000rpm and 620Nm of torque between 2000rpm and 2500rpm. Both engines come with an 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission and four-wheel-drive as standard.

The BMW X4 rivals the Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe and Range Rover Evoque in India. The extra premium over the X3 gets you a tapering roofline and M Sport package. BMW also offer multiple maintenance and warranty packages with the X4, bringing the running cost down to Rs. 1.52 per kilometre.
