BMW X3 20d X Line And M Sport Launched At Rs. 67.50 Lakh | V3Cars

BMW India have launched the diesel variants of the X3 mid-size luxury SUV. Apart from a petrol engine, the new X3 now comes with a 2.0L turbo diesel engine in 2 variants — X Line and M Sport.

BMW X3 20d X Line & M Sport Launched

BMW offer the new X3 20d in 2 variants — X Line and M Sport. The X Line sits below the M Sport and it is priced at Rs. 67.50 lakh (ex-showroom). The BMW X3 20d M Sport, on the other hand, is priced at Rs. 69.90 lakh (ex-showroom).

BMW X3 20d X Line Vs M Sport — Design And Functional Changes

The M Sport edition of the X3 brings a couple of exterior and interior changes that uplift the sporty quotient of the SUV. It gets a more aggressive front bumper with bigger air intakes and gloss black elements. Around the side, it gets M badging on the fenders and 19-inch M Sport alloy wheels. At the rear, it gets gloss black finish for the exhaust tips. Furthermore, exterior design elements like the kidney grille, roof rails and window line are finished in gloss black too.

On the inside, the M Sport edition offers sports seats, perforated seat upholstery, M steering wheel with multimedia controls, M Sport door sills and M interior trim. Furthermore, the X3 also offers features like a panoramic glass roof, a head-up display, a digital instrument cluster, electronically adjustable front seats with memory, ambient lighting and a 3-zone climate control.

BMW X3 20d Powertrian Details

The BMW X3 20d comes with a 2.0L turbo diesel engine. The 4-cylinder diesel engine produces 190PS of power and 400Nm of torque between 1750rpm and 2500rpm. The engine channels power to all 4 wheels via an 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission. The X3 20d can accelerate from 0-100kmph in 7.9 seconds while the top speed is limited to 213kmph.

The new BMW X3 rivals other mid-size premium SUVs like the Mercedes-Benz GLC, Audi Q5, Volvo XC60, Jaguar F Pace and Land Rover Discovery Sport. It is worth mentioning that Mercedes-Benz will soon bring the new-gen GLC SUV to the Indian market.
