August 2022 - Hyundai Car Sales Figures - YoY Change

  • The Creta has been a consistent top performer for Hyundai, with just over 12,500 units sold in August 2022.
  • The Grand i10 managed to join the Creta and the Venue in 5-digit sales figure club.
  • The Venue is the best performer in the mass-market cars from Hyundai in terms of YoY change in August 2022, with over a 34% gain in sales.
  • The top loser in Hyundai’s portfolio is the Santro, finally dropping to zero units, closing its chapter of downward trend we saw over the past few months.

August 2022 - Hyundai Car Sales Figures - MoM Change

  • As expected, the launch of the new Tucson has helped the nameplate perform much better in the sales chart, with over a 100% growth in its numbers in August 2022 MoM comparison. It was also the top gainer from Hyundai’s stable
  • The Alcazar, which was the top MoM gainer last month, saw a decline of over 20%
  • Excluding the Santro, Alcazar was the biggest loser, followed by the Verna and Grand i10 with a decline of 7.2%
