Sedans August 2022 Car Sales - YoY Change

  • The Dzire maintained its top spot among sedans in August 2022
  • It looks like even in the foreseeable future, the Dzire will remain the only sedan to achieve a 5-figure monthly sales figure
  • Among the smaller sedans, the Tigor witnessed a 108% YoY gain, making it the top gainer.
  • Honda Amaze sales witnessed a 48% YoY drop
  • The Hyundai Xcent-Aura twins were the second best-selling sedan in August 2022
  • The biggest loser was the Vento, reporting a 94.29% decline in dispatches, followed by the Amaze. However, it is worth nothing that the Vento is discontinued and the 10 units it sold last month could be VW fulfilling pending orders or clearing its stock
