In 2023, Audi India introduced a host of customer-centric programs and offerings – one of which was ‘ChargeMyAudi’ feature on the myAudiConnect app. A one-stop solution that gives Audi e-tron customers access to charging points of multiple electric vehicle charging partners, all on one app. ‘Charge my Audi’ is an industry-first initiative that enhances convenience for customers. The application, powered by the Numocity Technologies’ eMSP roaming platform, currently includes five charging partners – Aargo EV Smart, Charge Zone, Relux Electric, LionCharge and Zeon Charging. Audi e-tron customers benefit from complimentary charging across the network (except on Zeon charging) till March 2024. Currently, 1,000+ charge points are available to Audi e-tron owners on ‘ChargeMyAudi’ with more to be added over the next few months.
In line with Audi’s focus on sustainability, Audi India recently opened India’s first ultra-fast charging station in Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), Mumbai. Conceptualized and developed in collaboration with ChargeZone, this ultra-fast charging station boasts an impressive, total capacity of 450kW, to deliver 360kW of power to an electric vehicle and is enabled by a 500 amps liquid-cooled gun to ensure high performance and efficiency; powered by green energy the ultra-fast charging station also has a solar roof which further supports the peripheral electrical requirements like lighting. The Audi Q8 55 e-tron with a 114 kWh battery (the largest battery on a passenger vehicle in India) can charge from 20% to 80% in just 26 minutes.
Adding to the list of customer first-offerings, Audi India introduced a one-of-a-kind rewards program - Audi Club Rewards for customers in India. Audi Club Rewards offers exclusive access, segment-first privileges and bespoke experiences. This is open to all existing owners (including Audi Approved: plus owners) and future customers of Audi India. Currently this rewards program has 64,000+ active members. Further, a new, Apple watch version of the ‘myAudi Connect’ app for customers was introduced - this feature works independently of the iPhone once the ‘myAudi Connect’ account has been setup (Apple watch cellular with an active data connection is required). This allows customers to view the last recorded location of their Audi remotely and navigate to its location using an Apple watch. It will also highlight information on recent vehicle statistics including, driving range, battery level and charge status.
