Audi E-Tron GT electric EV Supercar launched | V3Cars
Audi India have launched their first duo of electric supercars in India. The ex-showroom prices of the Audi E-Tron GT and Audi RS E-Tron GT are Rs. 1.8 crore and Rs. 2.05 crore, respectively. While this may sound like a lot of money, rest assured that there’s performance to more than justify the asking price.
Both cars get a dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup for maximum traction. The regular E-Tron GT churns out 530PS of power and 630Nm of torque. The E-Tron GT can do the 0-100kmph sprint in 4.1 seconds. These numbers are easily supercar territory.
If that doesn’t impress you, then here are some more numbers. The RS E-Tron GT has 646PS of power, a meaty 830Nm of torque and a 0-100kmph acceleration time of 3.3 seconds. These figures sound acceptable even for a supercar worth Rs. 4 - 5 crore. To get such performance for nearly half the price is astonishing. The only thing you miss with an electric supercar is drama and noise.
The normal Audi E-Tron GT has an 83.7kWh battery pack while the RS-spec E-Tron gets a 93.4kWh battery pack. Audi claim that the E-Tron GT can drive for 400 - 480km on a single charge while the RS E-Tron GT can do 388 - 500km with a fully-charged battery pack.
In terms of features, the electric supercar twins get:
- All-wheel steering
- Adaptive air suspension
- Tungsten carbide brake callipers
- Launch control
- All-wheel drive with a limited-slip rear differential
- Active rear spoiler
- Fixed panoramic sunroof

- 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment
- LED headlights

For peace of mind during the ownership, Audi will offer service plans to cover 2 - 5 years of ownership. The battery pack comes with a warranty for up to 8 years or 1.6 lakh km. Comprehensive extended warranty coverage and roadside assistance are available for up to 5 years from the date of purchase.
