MG Cars Waiting Period

Disclaimer: The waiting periods mentioned here are tentative and likely to vary depending on the stock available with the dealer for a specific model-colour-engine-transmission-variant combination. Considering the MG’s production process, this should give you some idea of how long you may have to wait to take delivery of a certain car. While these are primarily applicable for the northern region, these waiting periods should more or less align for the rest of the country as well.

V3Cars Insights

1-2 weeks is about enough time to just get the paperwork in order. So, you can consider that they are most likely in stock and pretty much ready for delivery. The following cars fall in this category:

  • Comet
  • Astor
  • Hector (All other variants except Style petrol-MT)
  • Hector Plus
  • ZS (All other variants except Executive & Excite Pro)
  • Gloster (All other variants except Savvy variant)

The ZS EV Executive & Excite Pro variant seems to have a reasonably long waiting period. But the Gloster Savvy variant’s waiting period is extraordinarily long at almost 5 months. Only the Hector Style petrol-MT variant manages to beat it with a tentative waiting period of almost 6 months.

The cars using the 6-speed torque converter automatic like the Gloster are also carrying a substantial waiting period of 3-4 weeks.
