5 Features Renault Kiger Gets But Tata Nexon Doesn’t | V3Cars
The Tata Nexon is one of the best-selling B2-segment SUVs in the country. Over the years, the Nexon has gained a lot of features but it has also resulted in substantial price hikes. The Renault Kiger, on the other hand, offers practicality and a sensible set of features.
In this article, we share the list of features that you get in the Renault Kiger over Tata Nexon.
1. LED Headlights
Renault Kiger comes with all-LED reflector headlights whereas the Nexon comes with halogen projector headlights. It is worth mentioning that the Kiger gets split headlights and the low position means that it doesn’t require additional fog lights.
2. 12V Rear Power Socket
The Kiger comes with a 12V rear power socket that improves practicality. A rear power socket comes in handy when you want to connect a tyre inflator or a vacuum cleaner. Shockingly, the Nexon doesn’t get any type of charging outlet or power socket for the rear passengers.

3. Full-Colour LCD Instrument Cluster
The Kiger comes with a 7-inch instrument cluster with customisable modes. While the Nexon also comes with a digital instrument cluster, it’s not a full-colour LCD panel and looks dated compared to the one found in the Kiger.
4.Ambient Lighting
The Kiger comes with ambient lighting for the centre console and door handles. The presence of ambient lighting improves the cabin experience during night drives and makes the cabin feel a lot more premium. This feature is sorely missed in the Nexon.

5. Side Thorax Airbags
The top variants of the Kiger offer side thorax airbags for the driver and co-passenger whereas the Nexon only offers 2 airbags. It is worth noting that while the Kiger gets a respectable 4 star crash test rating from Global NCAP, the Nexon has a 5 star rating.

Kiger has smart keyless entry meaning car unlocks when it detects key in less than 1 mtr...for Nexon you'll have to unlock by pressing request sensor
Want to highlight for the 12v charging socket. Maybe you guys missed it but Nexon do come with 12v socket at rear seat. It is just behind rear seat on left side. So that comparison is nullified
