2025 Skoda Kylaq Ground Clearance And Dimensions

Early this year, Skoda India announced the Kylaq will be based on the brand’s MQB-A0-IN platform. The MQB-A0-IN platform debuted with the Kushaq SUV in 2021 and also underpins the Slavia, which was launched a year later. Based on previous spy shots, we knew the Kylaq was going to be a more compact form of the Kushaq with a length of under 4 metres for tax and excise benefits. Skoda India have revealed the ground clearance of the 2025 Kylaq and we expect them to reveal the width, height and wheelbase in due course.

Based on the dimensions already revealed by Skoda India, we can confirm the Kylaq shares the same length as the Brezza and Nexon. However, Skoda’s B2-SUV offers a wheelbase that is 66mm and 68mm longer than the wheelbase of the Brezza and Nexon, respectively.

We expect the upcoming Kylaq to boast the same width and height as the longer Kushaq C-segment SUV. That would make the Kylaq 30mm narrower and 73mm shorter than the Brezza. In comparison to the Nexon, the Kylaq would be 44mm narrower and 8mm shorter than the Tata SUV.

As for the tyre sizes, we expect the base variant to run on 205/60 R16 tyres while the mid and top variants get 205/55 R17 tyres. For comparison, all variants of the Brezza ride on 216/60 R16 tyres. The Nexon base variant gets 195/60 R16 while the mid and top variants feature 215/60 R16 tyres.
