2025 Lexus LX 500d Pricing And Variants

The new Lexus LX 500d 2025 costs Rs. 90,000 to Rs. 1.02 lakh more expensive than the Toyota Land Cruiser LC300 it is based on. In terms of rivals, the Lexus LX 500d competes with the BMW XM, Mercedes-Maybach GLS, and Range Rover.

Bookings for the 2025 Lexus LX 500d are currently open. However, the brand is yet to reveal a delivery timeline for the SUV.

2025 Lexus 500d Powertrain And Performance

The LX 500d is powered by a 3.3-litre twin-turbo V6 diesel engine, producing 309PS and 700Nm of torque. It is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission, with power sent to all 4 wheels. The SUV features a standard centre-locking differential, while the Overtrail variant adds locking front and rear differentials for superior off-road capability.  

Exterior Design

The LX 500d retains its imposing ladder-frame construction, featuring the signature Lexus spindle grille, angular LED headlights, and large air intakes. The side profile showcases a massive glass area and 22-inch alloy wheels. The rear is characterised by connected taillamps and chunky cladding.  

The Overtrail variant distinguishes itself with a darker, more rugged appearance. It features a blacked-out grille, fog lights, roof rails, wing mirrors, and door handles. It also gets smaller 18-inch matte grey aluminium wheels with higher-profile tires, and an exclusive “Moon Desert” exterior color.  

Interior And Features

The cabin offers luxurious upholstery options, including tan or crimson leather. A 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen, 7-inch drive mode display, and 8-inch MID display are standard. Key features include:

• Front-seat massage function
• Heated and ventilated front and rear seats
• 4-zone climate control  
• Wireless Apple CarPlay and wired Android Auto
• Rear-seat entertainment displays
• 25-speaker Mark Levinson sound system  
• Lexus Connect Technology (remote start/stop, roadside assistance, vehicle health monitoring)  

The Overtrail variant features a unique dark green “Overtrail Monolith” interior color scheme.

The LX 500d comes equipped with Lexus Safety System +3.0 ADAS suite, including:

The SUV offers 5 drive modes (Normal, Eco, Comfort, Sport S, Sport S+) and a Custom mode. It features active height control, adaptive suspension, and trailer sway control.
