We have recently managed to get our hands on some juicy details about the upcoming Kia Syros 2025. The latest leak comes from a reliable source and it confirms the variant names, top features, engine specs and dimensions of the 2025 Syros. So, let’s get started with the list of unique features of the Syros.

Kia Syros All You Need To Know

Update: Full ADAS is for top model only --- HTX Plus (O). Earlier, we had accidently mentioned ADAS being available in HTX (O).

The main USP of the Syros seems to be rear seat ventilation with slide and recline. Rest all of the features are also available in the Mahindra 3XO. So, it's mostly Kia playing catchup to earn back the tag of most feature-loaded B2 SUV.

It’s interesting to see that the Kia Syros won’t get auto-clutch manual transmission. The customers seem to have rejected this transmission, which is why in the last year or so, Kia have begun offering full-manual (3-pedal) with their engines — at least as an option.

However, the Syros will be the first car in Kia’s portfolio to get the 1.0L turbo petrol engine with a full-manual transmission.

The Syros will come in the following variants:

The most notable thing here is that the Kia Syros will get 17-inch alloy wheels. It’s not the first B2 SUV to get the 17-inch wheel option. The XUV300 was the first but then Mahindra dropped that feature only to re-introduce it with the XUV 3XO. Now, the Skoda Kylaq is another car with 17-inch wheels in the B2 SUV space.

Another notable thing here is that this is the first time one of the variants of their car will get their 1.0L turbo petrol engine AND 15-inch wheels. Lower rotating mass of the smaller wheels with a punchy turbo petrol engine should make it a fun car to drive. While you may not be able to notice any performance differences if the wheel size is only 1-inch larger. But, between the 15-inch wheels of the base variant and the 17-inch of the top variant, there will certainly be enough difference that even a non-enthusiast will be able to perceive it.

How To Pronounce Kia Syros?

Kia would like you to pronounce Syros as ‘See-Ross’. The presence of ‘Y’ in the name makes us want to naturally pronounce it as ‘Saaye-Ross’.

Thankfully, the pronunciation is also heavily dependent on the person’s natural accents. As long  as the message gets communicated in a clear manner without any ambiguity, there’s nothing wrong with calling it even ‘Saa-Ross’ or whatever you like.

Kia Syros Colour Options

The Syros 2025 will get the following 8 colour options:

  • Metallic white
  • Silver
  • Blue
  • Grey
  • Red
  • Black
  • Green
  • Light blue

Frost blue (similar to light blue) is a new colour for the Indian market and it first debuted with the Kia EV3:

It’s unclear if the last 2 colours (Pewter Olive/Green and Frost Blue/Light Blue) will be available from day 1 or come at a later date.
