Jeep India have introduced a new, limited-run version of the Compass SUV called the Compass Sandstorm Edition. This special edition offers a unique blend of rugged aesthetics and premium touches through an exclusive accessories package. Let’s take a closer look at it.

Jeep Compass Sandstorm – Exterior Styling And Interior Enhancements

The Jeep Compass Sandstorm Edition caters to enthusiasts who desire a more distinctive and personalised look for their SUV. It features custom “Sandstorm-themed” decals on the bonnet and along the sides, immediately setting it apart from the variants it is based on. A special “Sandstorm” badge above the front fender further emphasises its exclusivity.

Inside, the Compass Sandstorm Edition receives several upgrades to elevate the cabin experience:

Sand-coloured seat covers with dune pattern
Ambient lighting
Front and rear dash cams
Beige coloured floor mats
Sandstorm badge

The Jeep Compass Sandstorm Edition is available on the entry-level Sports and mid-spec Longitude and Longitude (O) variants. This allows a wider range of customers to access the special edition's unique styling.

The Compass Sports offers an 8.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 17-inch alloy wheels and LED reflector headlamps. The Compass Longitude and Longitude (O), on the other hand, offer a larger 10.1-inch touchscreen, wireless charger, and in-car connectivity features.

The Sandstorm Edition commands a premium of Rs. 50,0000 over the price of the standard variants it is based on. This translates to the following ex-showroom prices:

The Jeep Compass Sandstorm is powered by the same 2L diesel engine as the standard variants. The Sports, Longitude and Longitude (O) variants are offered with a 6-speed manual transmission as standard while the Longitude (O) also gets the option of a 9-speed torque converter automatic transmission. The 2L diesel engine produces 170PS of power and 350Nm of torque, and Jeep claim the Compass manual returns a claimed mileage of 17.10kmpl, while the Compass automatic delivers 15.30kmpl.
