New Tata Nexon CNG Launched At Rs. 8.99 Lakh – Gets Panoramic Sunroof | V3Cars

Tata Motors have launched the much-anticipated Nexon CNG at a starting price of Rs. 8.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Available in 8 variants, the Nexon CNG offers a few unique features over its segment rival, the Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG. Based on the information currently available to us, here are the features, powertrain specs and variant-wise prices of the Nexon CNG below.

2024 Tata Nexon CNG Variant-Wise Prices

The new Nexon CNG is offered in 8 variants – Smart (O), Smart Plus, Smart Plus S, Pure, Pure S, Creative, Creative Plus, and Fearless Plus PS. Here are the variant-wise prices of the Nexon CNG and the price difference over the Nexon turbo petrol variants:

The new Tata Nexon CNG carries a premium of Rs. 39,000 to Rs. 99,000 over the Nexon turbo petrol-manual variants.

2024 Tata Nexon CNG Powertrain Specs

The Tata Nexon CNG is powered by a 1.2L turbocharged bi-fuel engine with direct CNG start technology. The latest Tata CNG model is the only turbo-petrol CNG vehicle in India. Here’s a quick look at the powertrain specs of the Nexon CNG and how it compares to the Nexon turbo petrol:

2024 Tata Nexon CNG Features

The Tata Nexon CNG shares an identical design with the Nexon turbo petrol and diesel variants. However, the Nexon CNG offers one new feature over the Nexon petrol and diesel variants – a panoramic sunroof – making it the only CNG SUV in its class to offer this feature. Here are the feature highlights of the Nexon CNG 2024:

Safety features of the new Nexon CNG include 6 airbags, 360-degree surround view camera, rain-sensing wipers, auto headlamps, hill hold control, ABS and ESP, and Front parking sensors.

Thanks to Tata Motors’ twin CNG cylinder tech, the Nexon CNG offers a boot space of 321 litres. However, it is still 7 litres shy of the Brezza CNG’s boot space.
