The Curvv EV will mark Tata Motors’ entry into the electric C-SUV segment, where it will compete with the MG ZS EV and upcoming electric SUVs like the Hyundai Creta EV and Maruti Suzuki eVX. Meanwhile, the Curvv petrol and diesel will officially become the most affordable coupe SUVs in the country, at least until Citroen India announce the price of the recently-unveiled 2024 Basalt coupe SUV.

2024 Tata Curvv EV, Curvv Petrol And Diesel

Let’s take a quick look at the Curvv EV and Curvv petrol and diesel ahead of their official launch.

2024 Tata Curvv EV And Curvv Petrol, Diesel – Exterior Design And Features

The 2024 Curvv EV follows Tata’s latest design philosophy for EVs with an enclosed and body-coloured front grille that houses an integrated charging port. Other design highlights of the Curvv EV include connected LED DRLs, LED projector headlamps and fog lamps mounted on the front bumper, a faux skid plate, and cooling louvres at the bottom of the bumper.

Around the side the only visual difference between the Curvv EV and Curvv ICE are the former’s aero-optimised 16-inch alloy wheels and ‘ev’ badge on the front door. The top variants of the Curvv EV and Curvv ICE will also offer a panoramic sunroof, flush door handles, and a shark fin antenna.

At the rear, the Curvv EV distinguishes itself from the Curvv ICE with a clear lens connected tail lamp. Highlights include an integrated roof spoiler, a faux skid plate, and ‘curvv.ev’ lettering on the tailgate.

2024 Curvv EV And Curvv Petrol, Diesel – Interior And Features

The 2024 Curvv shares the same dashboard layout as the Nexon. The rest of the cabin, too, looks similar to what’s on offer in the Nexon. The only significant difference between the two Tata SUVs are the presence of a panoramic sunroof and the steeply raked rear roofline in the Curvv EV.

We expect Tata Motors to offer the top variant of the Curvv with powered and ventilated front seats, and dual 12.3-inch screen for infotainment and driver’s display. The top variants are also expected to offer wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The mid and lower variants of the Curvv could get dual 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system and digital driver’s display with wired Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

The Curvv also features a 4-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated logo borrowed from the Harrier and Safari SUVs. Additionally, it gets chrome door handles, tweeters in the A-pillar, a faux carbon fibre finish for the dashboard, red ambient lighting, auto-dimming IRVM, and touch controls for the AC, and ADAS functions.
