Skoda Kushaq Onyx Automatic Launched – Priced At Rs. 13.49 Lakh | V3Cars

Skoda India have updated the Kushaq lineup with the launch of the new Kushaq Onyx with an automatic transmission. With an ex-showroom price of Rs. 13.49 lakh, the new Kushaq Onyx AT is Rs. 2.35 lakh more affordable than the Ambition AT variant of the SUV.

The new Skoda Kushaq Onyx AT is now the most affordable automatic variant of the 2024 Kushaq equipped with the 1.0L turbo petrol engine. Compared to the Kushaq Onyx 1.0L turbo petrol-manual variant, the new Onyx AT is Rs. 60,000 more expensive. The price difference of Rs. 60,000 between the Onyx MT and Onyx AT variants is the lowest between any manual and automatic variants of the Kushaq. In comparison, the Ambition AT and Style AT variants cost Rs. 1.30 lakh more than the Ambition MT and Style MT variants, respectively.

2024 Skoda Kushaq Onyx AT Features

Like the Onyx MT variant that was launched in 2023, the new Onyx AT variant sits between the Active and Ambition variants of the Kushaq 1.0L turbo petrol. The new variant offers features from the higher Ambition variant such as:

LED headlamps with LED DRLs
Front fog lamps with static cornering lamps
Rear wiper and washer
Rear defogger
Hill hold control
Paddle shifters
2-spoke multi-function steering wheel
Automatic climate control

The new Kushaq Onyx AT also offers scuff plates with ‘Onyx’ inscription and Onyx-themed cushions and floor mats as standard. Like all new Skoda models sold in the country currently, the Kushaq Onyx AT comes with 6 airbags for enhanced crash protection.

Other features include 16-inch steel wheels with wheel cover, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, ESC, and traction control.

Onyx Automatic sounds very desirable. However, wonder if the long discussed EPC issues are resolved permanently!
