In this article, we take a look at Kia’s reveal, bookings open, launch and delivery timelines of the Seltos facelift to estimate the official launch and price announcement date of the Kia Sonet facelift.

The world premier of the new Kia Sonet facelift will take place at 12pm on December 14, 2023. Kia will reveal the Sonet facelift in the metal along with its variant and powertrain details at the event. The new Sonet’s leaked brochure suggests Kia will offer the updated B2-segment SUV in 7 variants with 6 powertrain combinations — same as before. 

2024 Sonet Facelift Bookings Timeline

In the case of the Seltos facelift, Kia opened bookings for the C-segment SUV 10 days after its official reveal. If we apply the same timeline for their upcoming SUV, we could expect Kia to open bookings for the Sonet facelift on December 24, 2023.

Kia Sonet Facelift Launch And Price Announcement Timeline

The Kia Seltos facelift was launched 7 days after bookings commenced. Hence, we could expect Kia India to launch the Sonet facelift a week after bookings open. That gives us a tentative date of December 31, 2023. We expect Kia to reveal the full price list of the Kia Sonet facelift on this date.

Sonet Facelift Deliveries Timeline 

Kia dealers across the country commenced deliveries of the Seltos facelift a week after its launch and price announcement. We expect Kia dealerships to follow the same timeline for deliveries of the Sonet facelift as well. This gives us a tentative date of January 6, 2024.

Kia K-Code

It is worth mentioning that Kia had rolled out a unique initiative called the K-Code for priority deliveries when they launched the Seltos facelift. Kia are yet to announce the K-Code initiative for the Sonet facelift. However, if they do roll out the K-Code for the Sonet facelift, it will enable current Kia customers to get a priority delivery option for the Sonet facelift. Alternatively, the K-Code also enables new Kia customers to avail the same benefit by getting in touch with an existing Kia customer to help generate the K-Code for priority delivery. The Sonet facelift will offer new features such as Level-1 ADAS features as well as a 360-degree camera. Meanwhile, the Sonet facelift will continue to offer features such as front ventilated seats and electrically-adjustable driver’s seat as well as add new features like an updated digital driver’s display and a new touchscreen infotainment system borrowed from the Seltos facelift.
