2024 Hyundai Creta Facelift — Exterior Details

In terms of design changes, the India-specific Creta facelift is likely to offer a larger grille, split LED headlights, and H-shaped LED DRLs over the current model. Around the side, it will retain the blade-shaped element running beneath the roofline while also incorporating a new set of alloy wheels. At the rear, the new Creta facelift could feature updated LED tail lights with an H-shaped lighting pattern.

The new images also revealed a radar sensor placed low down on the front bumper. The new Creta facelift could offer Level-2 (ADAS) that could use camera and radar based equipment like the Ioniq 5 all-electric crossover. Additionally, the test mule of the new Creta facelift also featured cameras on the front and sides, suggesting it could get a 360-degree camera system.

2024 Hyundai Creta Facelift — Interior And Features

Although the new spy shots show us the interior of the Creta facelift, the dashboard is hidden under heavy camouflage. The exposed interior bits seen in the new Creta spy images are exactly the same as we get in the current model. However, the seat upholstery and interior colour palette is likely to change with the upcoming facelift. Apart from that, we do not expect the Creta facelift to offer any major changes in terms of space management and functionality.

Apart from Level-2 ADAS and 360-degree parking camera, the Creta facelift could also offer features like a new fully-digital instrument cluster and an updated 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Currently, the Creta offers features like wireless phone charger, front ventilated seats, panoramic sunroof, 6 airbags, and reclining rear seat.

2024 Hyundai Creta Facelift Powertrain Details

The new Creta facelift is likely to retain the current 1.5L normal petrol and 1.5L turbo diesel engines. Meanwhile, Hyundai-Kia’s new 1.5L turbo petrol engine is likely to replace the now-discontinued 1.35L turbo petrol engine. The 1.5L turbo petrol engine already powers the turbo petrol variants of the Verna sedan and Alcazar SUV. This engine produces 160PS of power at 5500rpm and 253Nm of torque between 1500rpm and 3500rpm. In the Verna and Alcazar, this engine comes with the option of either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual clutch automatic transmission. We expect Hyundai to offer the same transmission options with the Creta facelift as well.

2024 Hyundai Creta Facelift Launch Details

Hyundai are likely to launch the Creta facelift in early 2024. We expect Hyundai dealerships to commence unofficial bookings for the Creta facelift towards the end of 2023 and its global reveal could take place at the start of 2024 and launch thereafter. The new Creta will continue to rival other C-segment SUVs like the Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, MG Astor, and Honda Elevate.
