Hyundai are set to unveil the new Creta facelift on January 16, 2024. Over the past couple of months, various spy shots gave us a clue of the kind of design changes we could expect in the Creta facelift. Hyundai Creta Facelift To Get Digital Instrument Panel

The second-generation Hyundai Creta was launched in India in 2020 with analogue gauges for engine speed, engine temperature and fuel level and a 7.0-inch digital screen that displayed speed, tyre pressure, drive modes and various other parameters. While this setup looked quite modern in 2020, it looks a bit dated now as more cars have switched to an all-digital driver’s display in the last couple of year. The latest spy shot of the Creta facelift suggest the popular C-segment SUV could feature the 10.25-inch digital driver’s display from the Hyundai Alcazar.

The other notable change in the Creta facelift is the new steering wheel. Hyundai have replaced the older 4-spoke steering wheel with the 2-spoke steering wheel from the new Verna sedan. The 2024 Creta is also expected to feature ADAS and 360-degree camera for improved safety. Meanwhile, the 10-25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and the HVAC controls look the same as before.

Hyundai Creta Facelift Expected Powertrain

As far as powertrains are concerned, we do not expect Hyundai to update the engines and transmissions that are offered in the current Creta. Hence, expect the Creta facelift to offer a 1.5L normal petrol (115PS/144Nm) with the choice of a 6-speed manual or CVT automatic transmission, and a 1.5-litre diesel engine (116PS/250Nm) with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic. Additionally, Hyundai could offer the 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine (160PS/253Nm) that made its debut with the Hyundai Verna and also powers the Kia Seltos facelift and Carens MPV. This engine could be offered with the option of a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
