Hyundai India have started testing the Alcazar facelift and images of the camouflaged test mule recently surfaced online. Read on to know more about the upcoming 2024 Hyundai Alcazar facelift.

2024 Hyundai Alcazar Facelift Spotted On Test

While the test car was covered with a generous amount of camouflage, we can make out a few changes over the outgoing model. The design of the headlights and tail lights are similar to that of the Hyundai Creta facelift, which is inspired by the recently-revealed Santa Fe SUV. The Alcazar facelift is likely to offer split LED headlights up front along with H-shaped LED DRLs and H-shaped LED tail lights as well.

We expect substantial changes to the front and rear end of the Alcazar and the updated SUV is likely to look more boxy than the current one. The side profile is likely to remain unchanged, save for a new set of alloy wheels.

While the latest Alcazar spy shots do not reveal the interior of the SUV, we expect Hyundai to redesign the dashboard with better quality materials.

2024 Hyundai Alcazar Facelift Expected Features

In terms of features, we expect Hyundai to use a generous amount of soft-touch materials on the dashboard and door cards to enhance the Alcazar’s premium appeal. Furthermore, it could also offer more features than the outgoing model. We expect Hyundai to offer wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay with the updated SUV. The Alcazar currently offers features like 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, wireless smartphone charging, and automatic climate control. The big change, however, could come in the form of advanced driving assistance systems (ADAS) features.

2024 Hyundai Alcazar Powertrain Options

In terms of powertrain options, we expect Hyundai to retain the current engines — the 1.5L turbo petrol and 1.5L turbo diesel — from the current Alcazar. Currently, the 1.5L turbo petrol engine of the Alcazar produces 160PS of power and 253Nm of torque. It comes with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT). The 1.5L turbo diesel engine produces 116PS of power and 250Nm. You can have the Alcazar diesel with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission (TC).

2024 Hyundai Alcazar Launch Details And Rivals

Since we expect Hyundai to launch the Creta facelift towards the start of 2024, the launch of the Alcazar facelift could take place in mid 2024. The new Alcazar will continue to rival other family SUVs and MPVs like the Mahindra XUV700, Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus, Mahindra Scorpio N, Toyota Innova Hycross, and Kia Carens.
