Production-Spec Tata Safari Facelift Interior Leaked | V3Cars
The upcoming Tata Safari facelift was spotted undergoing tests yet again. The latest Safari spy shots give us a glimpse of the updated interior of the SUV. Read on to know more about the changes to the Safari facelift’s interior over the outgoing model.
2023 Tata Safari Facelift Interior Image Leaked
The new image reveals the revamped dashboard of the Safari facelift. The interior of the updated SUV look somewhat inspired by the Land Rover Defender thanks to the 4-spoke steering wheel. The centre of the dashboard features a new touchscreen infotainment system that seems to be over 12 inches in size. Apart from that, the image also reveals a digital instrument cluster and a digital display on the steering wheel.

Speaking of other visual changes, the new Safari’s dashboard also features a golden coloured crash pad along with yellow stitching for the soft-touch leatherette material. Furthermore, it also features a new design for the AC vents and a capacitive control panel for air conditioning. These changes leave the interior with minimal physical controls since most of the functions are taken over by capacitive screens.
In terms of features, we expect the Safari facelift to continue offering features like wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, front and rear ventilated seats, co-passenger seat with electric boss mode, ambient lighting, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and panoramic sunroof.

Like the interior, the front fascia of the Safari facelift is likely to undergo a major overhaul and take a few design cues from the Harrier EV concept that was showcased at the 2023 Auto Expo. These changes could include a full-width LED DRL, vertically-stacked LED headlights, a larger front grille and connected LED tail lights. The overall silhouette and dimensions of the SUV are likely to remain unchanged.
2023 Tata Safari Facelift Powertrain Details
The new Safari facelift is likely to get the same 2.0L turbo diesel as the current model. It could also get Tata’s new 1.5L turbo petrol engine. Tata Motors showcased their new 1.2L and 1.5L turbo petrol engines at the Auto Expo and the latter will power the Harrier and Safari SUVs soon. Tata Motors say the new 1.5L turbo petrol engine produces 170PS of power and 280Nm of torque. Furthermore, the Safari will continue to offer the FCA-sourced 2.0L turbo diesel engine that produces 170PS of power and 320Nm of torque. It will continue to offer both manual and automatic transmission options.
Tata Safari Facelift Launch Details
Tata Motors are likely to reveal the Safari facelift along with the new-gen Nexon and Harrier facelift later this year. However, its launch is only likely to happen in early 2024. The Safari facelift will continue to rival other D1-segment SUVs like the MG Hector Plus, Mahindra XUV700 and Toyota Innova Hycross.
