2023 Tata Nexon Facelift Spied — Launch Soon | V3Cars
The Tata Nexon facelift was spotted undergoing tests recently. The fully camouflaged test mule of the Nexon facelift hints at a whole host of design and mechanical changes. Let’s take a closer look at the 2023 Tata Nexon facelift SUV.
2023 Tata Nexon Facelift Spotted On Test
The test mule of the Nexon facelift that was spied recently was fully covered in camouflage stickers. In fact, even the wheels were covered in stickers, which suggests that Tata want to keep the design details under wraps until its official unveil, which could take place in the coming months. While the spy shots don’t give us any hint towards the design changes, what we can confirm is that the Nexon facelift retains its sloping roofline.

Up front, the new Nexon facelift is likely to offer a bigger grille flanked by split LED headlights. Currently, the Nexon is the only SUV in Tata’s lineup that features a conventional headlight design. Furthermore, the dual tone alloy wheels and the taillights could get a revised design.
2023 Tata Nexon Facelift Interior Changes
The new Nexon facelift is likely to offer a couple of massive changes to give it an upper hand over its arch rivals. The biggest change will be the inclusion of a freestanding 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system from the Altroz Racer that was showcased at the Auto Expo. This new infotainment system will offer wireless connectivity for both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay along with a host of connected car tech features. Furthermore, we expect the Nexon facelift to offer a revised dashboard design with improved levels of fit and finish.
Currently, the Nexon offers features like an electric sunroof, a digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control, front ventilated seats, automatic headlights, rain-sensing wipers, rear AC vents and height-adjustable front seatbelts.

2023 Tata Nexon Facelift Powertrain Details
With new BS6 phase 2 emission norms set to take effect in April 2023, we can expect Tata Motors to update the 1.2L turbo petrol engine and 1.5L turbo diesel engines for lower emissions. The petrol engine is also likely to comply with the upcoming E20 fuel, which will arrive by 2025. We do not expect Tata Motors to offer any major power and torque improvements for both the powertrains over the current model. Both engines are likely to continue with a choice of a 6-speed manual and 6-speed automated manual transmission options.
2023 Tata Nexon Facelift Launch Details
Tata Motors are likely to launch the Nexon facelift in March 2023. The upcoming facelift will continue to rival other B2-segment SUVs, such as the Hyundai Venue, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV300, Renault Kiger and Nissan Magnite.
