2023 Tata Nexon Facelift To Offer A Full-Colour LCD Display | V3Cars
The new Nexon facelift was spotted on test once again and the latest spy shots reveal its full-colour LCD display. The Nexon facelift will offer a fresh design and new features over the current model.
Tata Nexon Facelift With Full Colour LCD Display
The Nexon currently comes with a digital instrument cluster. However, the current display isn’t a full-colour LCD unit. The Nexon facelift, on the other hand, will offer a new full-colour LCD display that seems different from the one offered in the updated Harrier and Safari. Both the new Harrier and Safari SUVs offer a 7.0-inch full-colour LCD display but the Nexon facelift is likely to offer an even larger unit and it could measure up to 10 inches in size.

Furthermore, the Nexon facelift will also offer a new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The new infotainment system runs a cleaner operating system (OS) and offers several widgets over the current 7.0-inch system. The new system also offers wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay along with air quality indicator (AQI) and an improved reverse parking camera. The same infotainment system already does duty on the Harrier, Safari and Nexon EV Max Dark edition.
2023 Tata Nexon Facelift Exterior Details
The Nexon facelift is likely to offer a split LED headlight design, which will make it fall in line with the smaller Punch and larger Harrier SUVs. It could feature a connected LED light bar covering the width of the front and merging with the Tata logo at the centre. Around the side, the Nexon facelift continues to come with wheel arch cladding and flared wheel arches. The new facelift could offer a new design for the 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. At the rear, the Nexon facelift will offer slimmer LED tail lights with a connected LED light bar.

2023 Tata Nexon Facelift Powertrain Details
Currently, the Tata Nexon comes with a choice of 2 engine options — 1.2L turbo petrol and 1.5L turbo diesel. Both engines come with the option of a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed AMT. However, Tata Motors showcased a brand new 1.2L turbo petrol engine at the 2023 Auto Expo. The new 1.2L turbo petrol engine produces 125PS of power and 190Nm of torque. The top variants of the Nexon could also offer a higher 225Nm torque output with the new petrol engine. This engine could offer the option of both 6-speed manual and 6-speed dual-clutch transmission.
2023 Tata Nexon Facelift Launch Details And Rivals
Since the Nexon is currently one of the oldest SUVs in the B2-segment space, Tata Motors could launch the Nexon facelift around August this year. The new Nexon could be Tata’s offering for the upcoming festive season. It will rival the recently updated Maruti Suzuki Brezza and Hyundai Venue facelift. Its other segment rivals include the Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV300, Renault Kiger and Nissan Magnite.
