2023 Skoda Kushaq Onyx Edition Launched — Detailed Overview | V3Cars
The Skoda Kushaq Onyx Edition was launched recently at Rs. 12.39 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Kushaq Onyx Edition sits between the Kushaq Active base variant and Kushaq Ambition Classic mid variant. In this article, we give you a detailed overview of the list of changes, both on the outside and inside, the powertrain options available and the prices of the Kushaq Onyx Edition C1-segment SUV.
Skoda Kushaq Onyx Edition — Exterior Changes
Skoda have given the Kushaq Onyx Edition a few additional features on the outside to help it stand apart from the base Active variant of the SUV. For example, the Kushaq Active features halogen headlamps while the LED DRLs replace the fog lights seen on higher variants. The Kushaq Onyx Edition, on the other hand, gets LED headlights with integrated LED DRLs and it also features fog lamps seen on the higher variants. In terms of similarities between the Kushaq Ative and Kushaq Onyx Edition, both variants feature black skid plates at the front and back and black roof rails.
The Kushaq Onyx Edition also features a unique decal on the bottom half of the doors and ‘Onyx’ badges on the B-pillar. Unfortunately, the Kusahq Onyx Edition does not get alloy wheels. However, the wheel cover design for the 16-inch steel wheels are different from the ones offered in the base Active variant. At the rear, the Kushaq Onyx Editions gets 2 very useful features that are missing in the Kushaq Active variant — a rear wiper with washer and rear windscreen defogger.
