2023 Kia Carens Gets Digital Instrument Cluster As Standard | V3Cars

Kia India recently launched the 2023 Carens MPV with BS6 phase-2 compliant petrol and diesel engine options. While the updated Carens doesn’t offer any new features, it now gets the digital instrument cluster as standard fitment across all the variants.

Kia Carens Now Gets Digital Instrument Cluster As Standard

Earlier, the Kia Carens Premium base variant was only available with a twin-dial analogue instrument cluster with a digital multi-information display (MID). Now though, Kia offer an all-digital instrument cluster right from the base Premium variant all the way up to the top-spec Luxury Plus variant of the Carens MUV.

However, it is worth mentioning that the digital instrument cluster of the Kia Carens isn’t a full-colour LCD display. It uses a 4.2-inch multi-colour display along with digital readouts for engine RPM and vehicle speed.

2023 Kia Carens Powertrain Details

Kia have updated the Carens’ petrol and diesel engines to comply with the BS6 phase-2 emission norms and road driving emission norms. Furthermore, Kia have replaced the old 1.35L turbo petrol engine (1.4L in Kia’s speak) with a new 1.5L turbo petrol engine. The normal petrol and turbo petrol engines of the Kia Carens are also E20 fuel-ready.

The base Premium 7-seater variant is now priced at Rs. 10.45 lakh, which is Rs. 25,000 more than the outgoing model. The top-spec Luxury Plus 7-seater diesel automatic variant is now priced at Rs. 18.95 lakh, which is Rs. 30,000 more than the outgoing model.
