Hyundai have opened bookings for the new Exter SUV and also revealed its powertrain and variant options. In this article, we share the list of colour options for the new Hyundai Exter SUV.

2023 Hyundai Exter Colour Options Revealed

Hyundai India will offer the Exter small SUV in a total of 9 colours:

White
Blue
Red
Khaki
Starry night
Grey
White dual tone
Blue dual tone
Khaki dual tone

It is worth mentioning that all the variants of the Exter offer all 6 single-tone colour options, save for the base EX and EX (O) variants. The base EX and EX (O) variant is not available in khaki and blue. The dual-tone colours, on the other hand, are only available with the SX DT and SX (O) Connect variants.

2023 Hyundai Exter Variants And Features

Hyundai offer the Exter in 5 variants — EX, S, SX, SX (O) and SX (O) Connect. The top-spec variant of the Exter is likely to offer features like a touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control, cruise control, automatic headlights, wireless phone charger, rear AC vents and front and rear seat armrests. Furthermore, the SX (O) Connect could offer connected car technology features as standard.

2023 Hyundai Exter Variant-Wise Powertrain Details

Hyundai have confirmed the powertrain details of the new Exter small SUV. The Exter will offer a 1.2L normal petrol engine with 2 transmission choices — a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed automated manual transmission (AMT). Buyers seeking lower cost of running with the Exter will also get the option of a 1.2L normal petrol-CNG powertrain option mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. 2023 Hyundai Exter Launch Details

Hyundai have already opened bookings for the Exter ahead of its launch, which is likely to take place in August. We expect Hyundai to host the global debut of the Exter small SUV in June and its series production could kickstart in July 2023. The Exter will go up against the likes of the Tata Punch, Citroen C3 and the non-turbo variants of the Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger and Maruti Suzuki Fronx.
