2022 Skoda Kodiaq Sold Out For 2022 | V3Cars

Update: As per our sources, Skoda India have stopped accepting bookings for the 2022 Kodiaq. The new prices will come into effect one the Czech carmaker decides to resume the bookings. 

Skoda India has sold out the first batch of the 2022 Kodiaq facelift, barely a month since its launch. The first batch of the Kodiaq consisted of 1,200 units of the flagship SUV and Skoda has quoted a waiting period of up to 4 months for deliveries. Skoda India are selling the Kodiaq via the CBU route and there is no word on when the second batch of cars will arrive on our shores.

Interestingly, Skoda India is set to increase the prices of the Kodiaq by Rs. 1 lakh in April 2022. On the other hand, the Czech SUV is already sold out for the whole year. Therefore, if you want to buy the Kodiaq, it’s recommended you book it at the current prices. It will save you from future price hikes and long waiting periods.

Talking about the Kodiaq, Skoda only offer it with a 2.0L turbo petrol engine. It produces 190PS of power and 320Nm of torque. The engine comes with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox and 4-wheel-drive. With the facelift, Skoda also added adaptive dampers to the package, which alter the damping force depending on the drive mode.

Other notable features of the Kodiaq include a twin-spoke steering unit, larger touchscreen infotainment with personal voice assistant, ventilated and heated front seats, panoramic sunroof, triple-zone climate control, ambient lighting, and Canton audio system. Skoda Kodiaq rivals the Toyota Fortuner, MG Gloster, upcoming Jeep Meridian, and Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace.
