2021 Mini 3-door, Convertible & JCW Launched In India | V3Cars
Mini launched the facelifted Countryman in March this year. The carmaker has now launched the facelifted Mini 3-door hatchback, Mini Convertible and the JCW (John Copper Works) in India.

All three cars get an updated new front fascia. The standard models get a larger front grille which is bisected a body-coloured element. It is flanked by those signature round headlamps with integrated fog lamps. The bumper is also redesigned with vertical air vents. The side profile remains unchanged save for a new set of alloy wheels. At the back, all three cars continue to get Union-Jack tail lamps but with a redesigned bumper.
The JCW Mini gets some exclusive cosmetic modifications in the form of a more aggressive front grille and sportier front and rear bumpers. It also gets new 18-inch alloys and JCW insignia on the front grille and the tailgate to set itself apart from the standard Mini 3-door.
On the inside, while the cabin layout remains largely unchanged, the new Mini is offered with two design options: Silver Chequered and Aluminium. New features on offer include a standard 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system and an optional 5.0-inch digital instrument display. Other features on offer include auto LED headlamps, auto wipers, rear parking sensors, parking camera, auto climate control, height-adjustable front seats, ambient lighting, dual airbags, ABS, traction control and electronic stability control.
Mini is also offering an optional MINI Wired Package that comes with a navigation system and wireless charging. Other optional additions include Apple CarPlay support and Harmon Kardon Hi-Fi Speaker System.
Under the hood, the 3-door hatch and the convertible are powered by a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine that makes 192PS and 280Nm paired to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic. The JCW hatch also gets a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine but it makes 231PS and 320Nm paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Mini claims while the 3-door hatch and the Convertible can go from 0-100kmph in 6.7 seconds and 7.1 seconds, respectively, the JCW hatch can do the same in 6.1 seconds.
