A few days ago, two examples of the BS6 Isuzu D-max V-Cross were spotted at a dealership revealing the lifestyle offering in its entirety. On the outside, the BS6 V-Cross looks identical to the BS4 model. On the top-spec variant, it gets features like dual-tone alloy wheels, roof rails and chrome door handles, while the lower variant gets single tone alloys, body-coloured door handles and miss out on roof rails and side steps.

Similarly, on the inside, the BS6 Isuzu looks identical to the BS4 model. It gets the same touchscreen infotainment system which is likely to miss out on Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Other features on offer should include a powered driver’s seat, auto AC, push-button start, cruise control, dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, traction control, and rear parking sensors.

Both the SUVs spotted featured a Ddi badging at the back suggesting they will be powered by the 1.9-litre diesel engine as before. In the BS4 disguise, it produced 150PS and 350Nm mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. While the automatic transmission can be seen in the images, Isuzu might also introduce a 6-speed manual transmission on the BS6 D-Max. The 2.5-litre diesel engine (134PS/320Nm) that was offered on the BS4 D-Max is not expected to be available on the BS6 Isuzu D-Max V-Cross.

Isuzu is expected to launch the BS6 D-Max V-Cross in April 2021. It is expected to be priced at a premium of around Rs 1 lakh over the BS4 variant which was priced from Rs 16.55 lakh and Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom). The D-Max V-Cross has no direct rivals in India.
