  • In terms of length, all the SUVs in this comparison apart from the Mahindra XUV 3XO share an identical length of 3995mm. 
  • The Syros is the tallest SUV of the lot while the Venue is the shortest. Thanks to the taller roof, the Syros offers more than adequate headroom for all passengers. 
  • The XUV 3XO offers the best wheelbase of 2600mm, while the new Syros comes in second. Despite the longer wheelbase, the Syros offers more space for 2nd row passengers than the XUV 3XO. This is thanks to the sliding and reclinable 2nd row seats in the Kia SUV. 
  • Kia are yet to reveal the ground clearance of the new Syros 2025. The Tata Nexon offers the best ground clearance in this comparison, while the Kylaq offers the least.
  • The Kia Syros offers 465L of boot space by sliding the 2nd row seats forward. Thus, it offers a good blend of practicality and comfort. The Maruti Brezza offers the least boot space among the B2 SUVs in this comparison.

2025 Kia Syros Vs Rivals – Petrol Engine Specs Comparison

Kia offer the Syros with a 1L turbo petrol engine. The Kylaq, Nexon and XUV 3XO, too, are exclusively available with turbo petrol engines. The Sonet and Venue get the option of a 1.2L normal petrol or a 1L turbo petrol engine. The Brezza is only available with a 1.5L normal petrol engine.   • The Mahindra XUV 3XO equipped with the 1.2L turbo petrol engine with direct injection (DI) offers the most power among SUVs in this comparison. The Venue and Sonet normal petrol which share the same 1.2L normal petrol engine offer the least power, followed by the Brezza.
  • Both of the Mahindra XUV 3XO’s turbo petrol engines are the only ones in this comparison that offer over 200Nm of torque. The Hyundai Venue offers the least torque, followed by the Sonet and Brezza.
  • The Tata Nexon gets the most number of transmission options. The Syros, Nexon, Sonet, and Venue are available with the option of a dual-clutch automatic (DCT) transmission, while the Kylaq, Brezza and the XUV 3XO get the option of a torque converter (TC) automatic.

  • The Syros and Sonet share the same tried-and-tested transmission options. The Nexon is the only diesel SUV to get a dual-clutch automatic transmission, while the Mahindra XUV 3XO continues to use a relatively less refined automated manual transmission or AMT.
