The Citroen C3 Aircross is all set to enter the booming C-SUV segment, which is flooded with latest offerings like the Kia Seltos facelift and the upcoming Honda Elevate. The new C3 Aircross may score less points in terms of features but it redeems itself with its 3-row seating and butch SUV styling. As you can see in the table above, the Citroen C3 Aircross comes with a 1.2L turbo petrol engine, which produces the most torque in the segment. Speaking of its power figures, the C3 Aircross offers 110PS of power, which is even lower than some naturally-aspirated petrol engine options in the segment. It is worth mentioning that some of the C3 Aircross’ rivals offer more powerful turbo petrol engines but they don’t fit right with the only engine option of the C3. Hence, we have only taken the base engines of all C-segment SUVs to draw a fair comparison.

The C3 Aircross is also the second most fuel-efficient manual SUV in this comparison, taking the second spot after the Grand Vitara/Hyryder. The C3 Aircross comes with a 6-speed manual transmission while all its rivals offer some kind of automatic transmission option, either torque converters or CVTs. Citroen are reportedly working on an automatic transmission for the turbo petrol engine in both the C3 and C3 Aircross in the near future.

Citroen C3 Aircross Bookings, Launch And Delivery Timelines

Citroen India will commence bookings for the C3 Aircross in September 2023 and announce the prices of the SUV in the same month. Deliveries, on the other hand, will start in October 2023. The new C3 Aircross will later be followed by its all-electric counterpart, which is likely to hit showrooms in early 2024.
