5 Features New Tata Altroz Racer Top Variant Offers Over Hyundai i20 N Line Top Variant
After a prolonged wait, Tata Motors have launched the 2024 Altroz Racer in India. Tata’s latest offering competes with the Hyundai i20 N Line, a sportier version of the i20 hatchback. Both cars are powered by turbo petrol engines and on paper, both offer near-identical performance as well. If you are an enthusiast, picking between the Altroz Racer and i20 N Line ultimately boils down to your preferences. In this article, we tell you 5 features that the 2024 Tata Altroz Racer R3 top variant offers over the Hyundai i20 N Line N8 top variant to help you make an informed decision.
Here’s a list of features that are available in the top R3 variant of the 2024 Altroz Racer but not available in the top N8 variant of the 2024 i20 N Line:
1. Front Ventilated Seats
The Tata Altroz Racer offers front ventilated seats in its top R3 variant whereas the i20 N Line does not offer this feature in any variant. Ventilated seats in cars are like tiny personal air conditioners built right into your car seat! They use a system of fans and perforated upholstery to circulate cool air, keeping you comfortable and fresh, especially on hot and humid days.

2. 360-Degree Camera
The R2 and R3 variants of the Tata Altroz offer a 360-degree surround view camera that makes parking in tight spots a breeze. None of the variants of the i20 N Line get this feature. Know more about the pros and cons of a 360-degree camera, and how it works by tapping the link below.

3. Blindspot Monitor
The 2024 Altroz Racer also offers a blind view monitor in its R2 and R3 variants. This feature is not available in any variants of the 2024 i20 N Line. Blindspot cameras offer significant advantages for drivers, enhancing safety and overall driving experience. It eliminates blindspots of the outside rearview mirrors by providing a live video feed of areas hidden from your view, minimising the risk of collisions when changing lanes or merging with traffic.

4. Air Purifier
Ever since the 2020 global pandemic, modern cars are offered with an air purifier, at least in their top variants, as they offer several advantages. An air purifier in car captures dust, pollen, smoke, and harmful exhaust fumes circulating inside the car, leading to cleaner and healthier air for you and your passengers. It also neutralises unpleasant odours from traffic fumes, smoke, pets, or spilled food, leaving your car smelling fresh and clean.
The Tata Altroz offers an air purifier in its top R3 variant while Hyundai do not offer this feature in any variants of the i20 N Line.
5. Xpress Cool
Last but not least, the Tata Altroz Racer offers Xpress Cool, a feature borrowed from the Nexon. Xpress Cool rolls down the driver-side window completely and sets the blower at full speed at the press of a button. This feature allows better air circulation inside the cabin and cools the interior quickly.
