Documents Required For Vehicle Registration In Karnataka

Below mentioned documents are mandatory for the registration of vehicle / transport in Karnataka RTO:

1. Application form for vehicle registration (Form 20)

2. Sales certificate (Form 21)

3. Roadworthiness certificate (Form 22)

4. Valid insurance certificate

5. Address proof (such as Aadhar card, passport, voter ID, etc.)

6. Identity proof (such as Aadhar card, passport, voter ID, etc.)

7. PAN card or Form 60/Form 61 (as applicable)

8. Vehicle chassis and engine number

9. Invoice or bill of purchase

10. Customs clearance certificate (for imported vehicles)

You will also need to pay the registration and additional fees post which your application will be processed and the number will be allotted.
